The Greenhouse Community Center is led by a committed team who provide resources and support to the Deer Park area.
Elizabeth "Libby" Fitzgerald
Libby has lived in Washington State for over 35 years. She is the mother of four adult children (plus 1), three sons, a daughter, and a daughter-in-law. Libby joined the Greenhouse team in February of 2022 with over 20 years of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience. In her free time, Libby enjoys reading, writing, and gardening.
Client Services Manager
Denise joined the Greenhouse team May, 2023. She comes from the Oregon Coast, but her husband’s family is from Deer Park–yes, that Porter family!–and has strong farming and community roots in Deer Park. Denise and her husband Dave have been married since 2000 and have three children. Denise is a homeschooling mother and works during the school year for Deer Park Home Link. The Porters have a large garden, raise their own beef, and Denise uses the food they grow to cook the majority of the family’s meals. Denise has had classes in both Master Gardening and Master Food Preservation through Oregon State University and was a 4-H Foods club leader for 15 years.
Mike has been the Operations Manager for the Greenhouse since December, 2022. Originally from Western Washington, Mike moved to Eastern Washington in 2001. He moved to Deer Park in 2017 to marry his wife, Rachel, and says his greatest achievement is being a trophy husband. All kidding aside, Mike is his best self when he is serving other people. Between them, Mike and Rachel have three children. In his spare time, Mike is an avid pool player and a member of a competitive team in the American Pool Association. He loves landscape and yard work for his clients, has a large garden, and is a member of the Deer Park Kiwanis.
